In my everlasting car search, I finally decide to go test drive a Fiesta ST based on a friend’s recommendation.

I wasn’t really expecting to be impressed, thinking it was just hype behind the little ST. I was wrong. I had a great test drive on some curvy roads and normal driving. The Fiesta hit the “just right” section of my wants in a car.

Now, back to my car search that just got a little bit harder.

oh yeah the fist is fun...... but if you want a masterclass in fun get your hands on a 106 rallye

or a clio williams... but those things are unobtanium

Try to Focus ST next and you’ll likely enjoy it even more

You think so? I think the Focus is more practical for ownership, but I found the Fiesta to be the more fun of the two when I drove them

After I reviewed it I was thinking about getting the newer one down the line. But, since the axed it I’ll have to save up some more beans for the FoST. I really do like the FiST though! Perhaps I’ll pick up a clean second hand one with not too many miles on it rather than springing for the FoST a few years from now.

Shameless plug:

It’s funny, I’ve driven a Focus ST multiple times but it’s just not as exciting for me. The dealership I visited did have a new Focus ST for the same price as a Fiesta ST so I might give it another try.

I’m with you, I think the Fiesta is more exciting. The Focus is just better at all the everyday car things
